erster Weltrekord- Versuch für GUINNESS WORLD RECORD SMASHED TV England, HOSTS- STEVE JONES & KONNIE HUQ im englischen TV. AUSSTRAHLUNGSTERMIN: 10.5.2009, CHANNEL- SKY 1

MOST PLUNGERS THROWN AT PEOPLE IN ONE MINUTE
DEFINITION OF RECORD
This record is for the most plungers made to stick on people by throwing in one minute.
This record is to be attempted by an individual (the "thrower") and a team of unlimited size (the
"targets")
The record is measured by the number of plungers that remain stuck on the targets in one
minute.
GUIDELINES FOR MOST PLUNGERS THROWN AT PEOPLE IN ONE MINUTE
1. For the purpose of the record a plunger is defined as a tool designed to release
stoppages in plumbing, consisting of a rubber cup with an attached stick "shaft",
usually made of wood.
2. Only commercially available plungers can be used for the attempt.
3. The shafts of the plungers can be shortened for the attempt, however no other
modifications of any kind are permitted.
4. A loud and recognizable sound must be used to start the attempt.
5. The "targets" must be lined up and must be topless, with their backs facing the
contestant.
6. After the start signal the contestant throws plungers at the targets.
7. Only plungers that stick on the targets count towards the total.
8. Should the team of targets not be big enough to allow the thrower to throw
plungers for the full minute, it is acceptable for the targets to remove the
plungers currently attached to them during the attempt. However, they may only
do so all together on a signal. During this, the thrower must stop throwing
further plungers at the target.
9. If any plunger falls off the targets by itself during the attempt, it will not count
towards the total.
GENERAL 'MOST...IN ONE MINUTE' GUIDELINES
. The name of the organisation, company or person(s) making the attempt must
be given, along with the date and place.
. The event must take place in a public place or in a venue open to public
inspection.

. The participant may take as many breaks as he/she wishes, but the clock must
not stop at any time for any reason.
. A loud start and finish signal recognized by all participants must be used.
. Two experienced timekeepers (e.g. from a local athletics club) must time the
attempt with stopwatches accurate to 0.01 seconds.
